Michael Elsworth joined Supply Direct in 2011, bringing a long history of executive management skills to the organisation. He has been working in the mining industry since 1998 for major international mining companies, where he’s held senior roles.

Michael holds a National Diploma in Sales and Marketing from the University of Witwatersrand, a Certificate in Project Management from the University of George Washington, and Advanced Logistics and Operations Management certification from PSM. Michael is results-driven and places a large emphasis on work ethic while fostering a team-orientated environment.
Hannelie Spangenberg
Finance Manager
Hannelie Spangenberg has spent her entire career in finance. She joined Supply Direct in 2008 and oversees all finance, accounting and administration functions throughout the organisation.
Hannelie Spangenberg has spent her entire career in finance. She joined Supply Direct in 2008 and oversees all finance, accounting and administration functions throughout the organisation. Prior to Supply Direct, Hannelie held a number of roles where she was responsible for creditor and debtor functions. Hannelie has excellent negotiation skills, a critical talent for mining supply chain management. By her own admission, she’s passionate about accounts and numbers. Hannelie continually updates her skills to ensure she meets her primary goal of ensuring the sustainability of Supply Direct’s financial division.
Yolandé Kapp
Logistics Manager
Yolandé Kapp has worked in logistics since 2006. She has been the Logistics Manager at Supply Direct since 2012.

She has been the Logistics Manager at Supply Direct since 2012 and is responsible for service delivery in the following areas: Process Management, Contract Management, Health and Safety, Fleet and Route Management, Cost Management, People Management, Risk Management and Compliance.
Yolandé has a CILT – L5 International Diploma in Logistics and Transport International Diploma in Logistics and has taken additional tuition in leadership and management, import/export procedures, and import logistics. She is goal orientated and is known for her attention to detail.
Bertie Goosen
Technical Manager
Bertie Goosen started at Supply Direct in 2017 and is responsible for servicing and supply solutions to support internal and external mining groups.
Bertie Goosen started at Supply Direct in 2017 and is responsible for servicing and supply solutions to support internal and external mining groups. Personal interaction with clients and suppliers is an essential part of his role in supporting operations through Africa and across the Atlantic. Bertie has formed business relations in Australia, Europe, and the USA.
Bertie’s passion for mining and earthmoving equipment started when he was 12 years old. He has more than 20 years’ experience working in earthmoving, plant hire, construction, plant sales, plant rebuilding, parts sales, and machine sales. For 10 years he was the co-owner of a plant hire company which operated nationally and throughout Africa.
